Program Overview

The VC Allocator Program is a five-week, hybrid learning experience designed for investors and professionals who want to build a practical understanding of venture capital.

Delivered in partnership with Wade Institute’s VC Fundamentals, the program combines online foundational learning with live sessions, curated discussions, and peer meetups led by experienced investors and VC managers. In this unique format, participants move through VC Fundamentals together as a cohort, applying concepts in real time and exploring how they translate into the realities of venture investing.

Across five weeks, you’ll gain both the theoretical grounding and practical insight needed to navigate the venture ecosystem. Beyond learning how investors assess early-stage startups, you’ll go deeper into topics such as fund design, capital allocation strategy, portfolio construction, and LP-GP dynamics, equipping you with the tools and confidence in VC.

The series is designed as the entry point into the VC Allocators Club by FB Ventures. A growing community of investors and professionals interested in shaping the future of venture capital in Australia. By the end of the program, participants will have a clearer understanding of the VC landscape, an expanded network, and a pathway to continue their journey as active contributors to the venture ecosystem.
